ACCESS  FOR VISITORS TO P.S.C

PSC has 3 gates which are controlled by a key fob or keying in an access number on the keypad fitted to the support on which the gate is hinged.

Visitors requiring access should phone 02392 376375 during bar opening hours when standing by the land gate in Waterside Lane and ask the bar staff to allow entry. At present this is done manually but is shortly to be changed so it can be done remotely after viewing the request or by cctv at the gate.

If the visit is for an extended period such as a visit by another club for the weekend, notice needs to be given so that a code can be defined that can be keyed in on the keypad to allow access. This will only be for a defined period of time. Please close and secure the gate after entering.

Cruising

At Portchester Sailing Club we have a very active group of cruiser sailors. The club offers deep water and half tide moorings and availability is usually good. Naturally, the most sheltered and closest moorings are more popular and have a waiting list.

Shore side facilities include hard standing for cruisers between October and April, a derrick for stepping and unstepping masts, and a pontoon, which is accessible for around 2 hours either side of high water.  Read more…
